A B O U T M E
Dogs have always been my passion. As a child, before I was allowed to have my own dog, I filled my weekends walking the neighbours dogs from morning till dark. My Christmas and birthday wish lists were filled with books on dog training, dog health, and every beautifully photographed breed standard publication I could find.
Eventually my dreams came true and I got my first dog a little sand and white Jack Russell, we called her Pepe as her nose was peppered with freckles.
Fast forward to adulthood and starting my own family we eventually got our first family dog a beautiful Black Labrador - Shankly. I queued for hours at a local pet shop to have his picture taken but was so disappointed with the images I decided to learn the skills I needed to capture him the way I saw him.
Several years later and 100's of hours studying and 100's and 1,000's of images captured for friends and family I started Pawtrait Pals. Having started raising puppies for Guide Dogs UK there was always willing models!
One of the hazards of puppy raising is the pups being withdrawn and the decision whether to keep them or not. Hence our dog family doubling then tripling to include Our beautiful Golden Retriever Tom and our handsome German Shepherd Kel. Sadly we lost our Shankly August 2020 aged 12 But thanks to the skills I have learnt we have so many memories captured. Shankly is the cover image and you'll find his photographs dotted around this website and on our media pages.

What can I say . Just got my photos back from Sharon. Words carnt express how delighted we are with them . We went to the woods for our photoshoot were sharon knows all the hidden spots and beautiful scenery. The photo are so beautiful and have captured my dogs character and beauty . I carnt stop looking at them to say I'm thrilled is a total understatement . Not only are the photos amazing but the hole exsperience was fantastic . Thankyou so much Sharon x
Can’t recommend pawtrait pals enough. Sharron was so patient and kind with Copper on the day when he wouldn’t stay still. He eventually got the hang of things and I was so pleased with the end result. The photos she’s captured of him are just fantastic, and really captured his facial expressions and personality- I can’t stop looking at them. I’ve bought the entire set as I love them so much and can’t thank Sharron enough!
Sharron is extremely professional and has the patience of a saint! She managed to get the most gorgeous photos of our very excited 4 month old puppy and we couldn’t be happier with how they’ve turned out! The photos are perfect and we’re edited and sent to us quickly and were easy to access. We’ll definitely be booking another session in once he’s fully grown! I can not recommend this amazing lady more, having two young chow chows getting pictures was impossible! We received our album today and the pictures was amazing really capturing them together in their happy places enjoying their walk. Amazing with animals and very talented photographer, and my dogs being chows are usually standoffish with everyone but was so relaxed on the entire shoot.
